Fantastic pictures from the Pompey perspective and a brilliant reminder of
a of unique day of solidarity between opposing football supporters. We may
be rivals in some respects, but we are all human and all love our team.
Play up Pompey, Boing Boing Baggies!!! Good luck next season and we'll see
you back at the Hawthorns.
Craig
Thanks for the pictures and a truly unbelievable day on Sunday.
It's
been so many years since two sets of supporters united together - back in
the days when crowds were able to mingle freely - and you have created a
bond with the Baggies that will be lasting.
Can't wait to visit your
ground next season and be able to join you again in singing "There's only
one team in Hampshire!"

Tremendous! Thanks for sharing both those and a great day. My 7-year-old
lad was with me and I feel privileged that together we witnessed history
being made and a unique experience. I'll never forget it. Truly memorable.

Looking at these from down under .Fantastic pictures thanks heaps for
putting them on the net.
Takes me back 30 years when I went to
Portsmouth with the baggies and the two sets of fans were spitting at eact
other across iron railings. Still the best slagging competition I have ever
seen. Seriously though. Than you Portsmouth for helping make Suday one of
the best days of my live. My old man is 82 and even he was dancing around
the house. Cheers Phil

As a Pompey season ticket holder from old working many a Saturdays I only
got tickets from a very good friend for two games this season. Pompey's 4-1
destrustion of Scums and this truly unprecidented day. Loved every second
of it and your pictures capture the memories so very well. My favourite
memory was on the back seat of a very large Pompey coach convoy leaving the
Hawthorns. We had a Baggies banner up in the back window and half the
people on the coach had Pompey other half West Brom shirts on. The looks of
sheer joy on the thousands of faces young and old who cheered us out the
city was amazing. Funny also the look on the BCFC fans faces as we passed
their pubs singing Boing Boing Scummers Gorn!

What a fantastic day this was equally as enjoyable as beating scum. None of
us could believe that we were willing our boys to lose and singing
ALBION..ALBION..amongst othe Baggies anthems. It was great to here them
oblige at the end. My greatest memory of this day was sitting on the back
seat of a coach amongst a very large convoy being escorted ot of the city.
We had WBA and Pompey banners and scarves up and the look on peoples faces
cheering us out of the City was unbelievable. By contrast the look on the
Birmingham City supporters faces as we passed by one of their pubs singing
Boing Boing Scummers Gone, was highly amusing. Cheers guys!!
